The Day of Atonement

“Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins”

(Hebrews  9:22)

The following video gives a broader context to “Good Friday” (Yom Kippur), the day of atonement, still celebrated by the Jews. In the old testament, this was the day when atonement was made for the sins of the people and the Bible says it foreshadowed the death of God’s Lamb, Jesus.
