God doesn’t care that you can’t do it

Do you have a burden you feel you can’t bear? Or a task that’s beyond your capabilities?

Moses felt that way too.

When God commanded him to bring out His people from Egypt, Moses had a million arguments against it. He said: “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?

So true! He had been an exile for 40 years. Last time he was there, Pharaoh sought to kill him. He now only knew how to tend sheep. Even his speech was lacking.

But God replied: “But I will be with you…

It seems like God doesn’t care about our bad background or pedigree. He is actually great at using nobodies like you and me to do great things for him. That’s how he gets the glory. He is strong in our weakness. Take heart! His presence makes us strong.
