[Grab the book nearest to you, go to page 123, find the 5th sentence and put on your blog the next three sentences. Cite the title of the book and the author’s name. Tag three other people.]

The Bible (ESV) was next to me so here it goes…

“And the Israelite woman’s son and a man of Israel fought in the camp, and the Israelite woman’s son blasphemed the Name, and cursed. Then they brought him to Moses. His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan. And they put him in custody, till the will of the LORD should be clear to them. ” (Leviticus 24:10-12 ESV)

But then my brother picked a book from my bookshelf: (Making Friends and making them count, by Em Griffin.)

“Just as men don’t show their fear in public, most women observe an unwritten rule by not letting on when they’re mad.

SURPRISE: surprise shows on the entire facial map. Eyebrows are extended upward, the eyes are round, and the mouth drops open. Perhaps because of the multiple indicators, surprise is rarely misconstrued.”

Now I tag Jen, Brian (teacherslounge) and Adam.
