I am definitely NOT endorsing this tv series, but I absolutely love this amazing cover. It’s one talented guy, playing a 13 part acoustic and electric violin cover.
And…for those of you who’d like a mashup (the same cover, but they added drums and guitars), here it is. REALLY cool!
Here are three random thoughts today:
1. It’s only 12 days for vacation to end (bittersweet smile)
2. My birthday is next week and I hope the stars will be out and shining that night.
3. I love music.

We were out on my friend’s house roof, chilling out in the dark, late Wednesday night. It was just 5 of us which was really nice. I sat down, laid my head back on the chair, and (after I got my night vision right) I saw a shooting star! Oh so beautiful! I had the chance to make a wish 
(which, according to the tradition, I must not tell you).
A few hours later, I tilted my head back again to see the stars and I happened to see another shooting star…but this time it caught me completely off-guard, so I had a hard time figuring out what good wish I should make 
Anyway, (insert sarcasm here) if you believe in wishing upon shooting stars, that was part of the highlight of my week . Other highlights were:
1. Shooting at a birthday party
2. Being loved by Jesus in peculiar ways. His gospel shinning through difficult times!
3. Getting Lion OSX on my Mac for free 
As for you, this is your dose of funny stuff for this week:

I don’t know why I had to look at my calendar to find out how many weeks of vacation I have left. I have 3 more to go, yet I’m already thankful for what God has done in my life and what/how He’s provided. The Lord is very creative!
It’s the second summer He likes to do amazing things in my life. I mean, I’m sure He’s worked good things every summer of my life, but this is the 2nd one I am truly aware (and thankful). I have a list of at least 10 things, and summer isn’t over yet! Cool!
I’ve been enjoying taking photos these days. It’s one of those artistic things I’m getting good at Here’s a creative camera ad I like a lot

But none of us can be as cute as this kitty when trying to get things we want.
We’re having a conference this weekend. Last night we had Alex Montoya. God’s grace and power was given to us through this pastor We’ll also have Paul Tripp preaching the Word in our midst. Praise Christ He uses instruments to edify His church!
